Brianne Williams in an emerging Nova Scotia artist who paints realistic scenes of the sea.  Raised in Annapolis Valley, Williams moved to Halifax for her education at NSCAD University, focusing on painting and drawing.  Her paintings employ imagery of Nova Scotia’s ocean front communities and explore the distorted reflections and colours cast by their environment onto the water’s surface.   This is perfectly captured in her painting “Peggy’s Cove”.
